The Thunder roof bars for the Mercedes-Benz GLC Class X253 (2016–2022) fit between the integrated rails, sitting low above the roof. Made of aluminium, they feature an aerodynamic profile designed to reduce noise while driving.

The set includes feet with anti-theft locks at both ends, while the mounting points have a rubber coating to help prevent scratches. Assembly requires no additional tools, and the top T-track is covered with a special rubber strip to reduce noise.
