Dragmax from Dunlop
Dragmax offers unmatched grip, stability, and consistency through the use of Dunlop’s proprietary compounds and construction techniques. It is capable of handling the demands of Pro Street motorcycles, where horsepower and speeds have increased to remarkable levels.
The design of Dragmax combines the high levels of “static” grip of dragster racing tires with the shape of classic street tires, to fit common rims of street motorcycles.
Additionally, Dragmax is available in the 190/50-17 size, meaning it is exactly the same as sport and sport-touring tires. The tire's crown and carcass have been redesigned to provide a larger contact patch with the asphalt.
Thanks to its specially designed carcass, Dragmax can support low pressure down to 11 psi, allowing the tire to remain secure without slipping on the rim. The rider can adjust the curvature of the crown and the contact patch of the tire, using high pressures for normal riding and low pressures for racing use.
Dunlop has secured type approval for the use of Dragmax on public roads.
