3D Comprehensive Tyre Design Method Technology
3D CTDM is Bridgestone’s automated tyre design technology, including 3D dynamic simulations and analyses of all performance characteristics of a tyre. In the design of front tyres, stability at high speeds is maximized and vibrations are minimized, while the design of rear tyres includes fewer grooves for cornering grip and stability.
The tyre profile design is done with 3D CTDM to ensure faster and lighter handling in tight corners. Lateral stiffness is also maximized for improved grip, while the contact pressure line is maintained at all lean angles for smooth handling.
SACT Technology
SACT is the result of Bridgestone’s intensive research and development, combining two different rubber compounds in one construction that offers high wear resistance for reliable everyday riding, as well as solid grip on the shoulders for cornering. This tyre adapts its use to the riding style, with shoulders for increased traction and a central line that enhances mileage performance.
