The Brita BR1020581 professional water filter uses activated carbon and a tubular fiber membrane to reduce particles as small as 0.5 μm, bacteria, and cysts. It also reduces substances that affect taste and aroma, as well as certain metals, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, and hormones, while retaining the minerals in the water.
Pre-filtration traps coarse particles, such as sand, to protect the components. It is compatible with BRITA Top 50/85 HygienePlus and BRITA Extra 50/85 HygienePlus water dispensers.
