    I come from JM LAB Tantal (507 & 505)

My new Monitor audio bronze 2 speakers are driven by the Cambridge audio topaz am5 amplifier, which is borderline. The sound in blues, jazz & deep bass electronica, either from vinyl or digital sources, is excellent. After many hours of breaking in, I can't imagine wanting a better, deeper, and more cohesive sound from any speaker. I highly recommend them

Quite good, they have definitely been surpassed, but they are considered classic.
They could be a little more affordable!
Nice classic design (for a shelf) and Monitor Audio sound (light, airy, detailed)!

Very good value for money. After a month of use and gradual break-in, I can say that in combination with a relatively good amplifier, they perform at levels that exceed the expectations of 98% of users who will purchase them. Excellent build quality.

I have had these speakers for 8 months and they are truly the best value for money, especially if you connect them with bi-wiring (meaning without the bridges, as the amplifier supports 4 terminals instead of 2 on each channel) like I have them with the Yamaha R-N301 amplifier, they will show their "hidden" talents! Also, the music I listen to is electronic and jazz.

Tremendous choice. The best in their category. Equally good as the much more expensive B&W 685 S2. Highly acclaimed by Whathifi for many years, both this model and their previous one. They don't need a subwoofer for full and melodic music. If you want the bass to dominate, then it's good to add a subwoofer so that the speaker can rest from the lows, thus better reproducing the mids and highs. With a good amplifier, their performance is similar to much more expensive systems.

The speakers are really good. I use them with a Yamaha as-501 amplifier. They produce a very clear and detailed sound. They are high-quality and it shows. I have tried many genres of music and noticed that I can hear sounds that I couldn't hear before. They have great detail, depth, and balance. It's a joy to listen to music with them. The bass is average, I would prefer it to be a bit stronger/fuller. For use with a PC, I bought a 20 euro coaxial cable, and the sound that comes out through the amplifier's DAC is simply perfect, at least for a computer. For use with a turntable, they truly excel. I use them day and night and they don't tire me at all. Overall, they are perfect for mid and high frequencies. I don't regret choosing them over the Dali Zensor 3. Beautiful speakers. I recommend them!

Excellent build quality and excellent sound even at high volumes.

In terms of appearance, they are "extremely beautiful"! So much so that it is difficult to leave them covered ... The truth is

At the price level we are talking about, it is definitely a GOOD choice and no one will regret it. I have a slight concern because they do not have magnetic shielding and the fact that for now I have them relatively close to the TV (I use them as front speakers until my finances allow me to switch to the 6-series of this brand).

They may be slightly "more musical" than the Yamaha-NS333 that I had preferred a while ago in another system and they are equivalent in terms of volume and price (okay, the monitor audio is slightly more expensive).

Very good speakers with excellent build quality, perfect for orchestral pieces with a very sweet sound that comfortably fills a 40 square meter living room. The only possible drawback is that they require space for setup (placement on a stand). Their sound improves as the volume increases. Of course, for music listening, a subwoofer is not necessary as their bass is more than sufficient

Good sound, dynamic speakers and can withstand high volume... generally, in order to have good sound quality, there needs to be a balance between the devices. This means that if we don't have a good source and we listen to music from the computer's built-in sound card, we definitely won't have good results in the speakers' performance, which are designed to deliver. For example, if we have an expensive amplifier and 100 euro speakers but a poor quality source, it still wouldn't be a good criterion to judge the amplifier's sound.

I have thought about changing them and getting new ones, but I can't part with them. I really like their appearance, they are very elegant speakers
