The Cort X500 Menace electric guitar features a Mahogany body and Neck-Thru Body construction. Its 7-piece neck combines Maple, Purple Heart and Panga Panga, while the Ebony fingerboard has a compound radius of 12–16 inches and 24 Jumbo frets. It is equipped with a Seymour Duncan Sentient pickup in the neck position and a Nazgul pickup in the bridge position.
The FloydRose 1000 Series Tremolo bridge is paired with a locking nut and Die-Cast tuning machines. The controls include volume and tone knobs, as well as a 3-way selector switch.
