Description & Specifications

Baumit Starkontakt is a white adhesive and rendering mortar based on white cement and gel technology. It is used to bond and render thermal insulation boards, incorporating Baumit StarTex alkali-resistant fibreglass mesh. It has high water vapour permeability and provides good adhesion for the finishing coat, without requiring a primer.

In new buildings up to 10 m high with ceramic brick walls, it eliminates the need for mechanical anchors. Consumption for bonding and rendering is 7.5–9.5 kg/m².
