Clarifying Agent Klarowin 2 for Red Wine, 7 g
Klarowin 2 contains gelatin acetate – a crystalline substance that effectively removes haze caused by the presence of pigments and tannins, mainly in wines and red juices. The gelatin is available in 7 g portions, which are enough to clarify 30-50 liters of liquid.
Instructions for Use: Dissolve the appropriate portion of gelatin in 100 ml of warm water. Pour the prepared mixture into the clarified wine or juice and mix well.
Follow the recommended doses to avoid overdosing. The effect will be visible after about one week. Overdosing with clarifying agents may cause further haze in the wine, while overdosing with gelatin may lead to loss of color and flavor of the wine. It is preferable to carry out preliminary tests with smaller amounts of liquid.
Warning: The products should be used only if you are 100% sure that fermentation has completed. Otherwise, the carbon dioxide produced during fermentation will prevent the particles absorbed by the clarifying agents from settling.
