The Palaiochori dry red wine from Apostolidi Estate is made from the Karapapa grape variety. Fermentation takes place 40% in stainless steel tanks and 60% in oak barrels, while ageing takes place in second-use barrels.
It has an intense ruby colour and aromas of cherry, sour cherry and rose, with subtle earthy and herbal notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with noticeable tannins, high acidity and a long finish. It pairs well with red meat, pasta, pizza, cheeses and cured meats.
