Level 1 > I read words without digraphs or consonant clusters

Reading is a fundamental skill that lays the foundations for children’s smooth adjustment and development in primary school, as well as for their socialization. The books in the series I Learn to Read with Chara and Thanos help children master reading step by step and feel confident.

Level 1
Stories up to 180 words, without consonant clusters or digraph vowels or consonants, short sentences, up to three lines on each page, simple vocabulary.

Level 2
Stories up to 280 words, with consonant clusters, the digraph vowel “ει” as a verb ending and in the verb “said,” short sentences, up to five lines on most pages, simple vocabulary.

Level 3
Stories up to 380 words, with consonant clusters, digraph vowels and consonants, longer sentences in periods, broader vocabulary.
