Specifications
Michaelmoelleria vietnamensis is a tropical evergreen houseplant with compact growth and dark green, slightly fleshy leaves with silver spots or streaks. It produces large, tubular flowers in shades of lavender, pale blue or deep purple. It is native to southern Vietnam and grows mainly on rocks.
It needs moderate to bright indirect light, as direct sunlight can scorch its leaves. Keep the growing medium slightly moist, allowing the surface to dry between waterings. It thrives in high humidity, ideally 60%–70%, and at temperatures of 16–27 °C. For planting, use a light, acidic, well-draining medium, such as a mix of sphagnum moss, perlite and peat.
