The 400 × 350 mm cast-iron cooktop is designed for use with a wood-burning stove and features a removable burner plate with four concentric rings that can be removed to adjust the opening to suit the size of the cookware. Its 15 mm-thick cast-iron construction stores and retains heat, helping ensure even cooking. The flat surface accommodates frying pans, pots, cauldrons and heavier cast-iron cookware.

The burner plate has a diameter of 265 mm and can also be used for cooking directly over the flame. During installation, allow a 10 mm expansion gap between the cooktop and the countertop, which can be filled with 12 mm heat-resistant rope.
