The dry white wine Ktima Biblia Chora Plagios is made from Chardonnay grown on the slopes of Mount Pangaion, with a low yield per hectare. It is fermented in new oak barrels and remains there for a few months on the lees. It has a straw-yellow color with green highlights and aromas of ripe yellow fruit, citrus, flowers and minerals, accompanied by notes of vanilla and hazelnut praline.
On the palate, it has a creamy texture, rich flavor, good structure and balanced acidity, with a finish of fruit, cedar and vanilla. It pairs well with oily fish, pasta and risotto with creamy sauces, poultry dishes and mature cheeses. Serve at 12 °C. It can be aged for 8–10 years.
