The 1 kg ABC powder fire extinguisher is a compact firefighting device for tackling fires in their early stages. It is suitable for use in cars, garages, workplaces and other areas where a firefighting device that is easy to store is required.

It contains 1 kg of ABC fire-extinguishing powder and is designed to tackle Class A, B and C fires, with a fire rating of 5A / 34B / C. It features a pressure gauge, a safety mechanism and a nozzle for directing the extinguishing agent.

Suitable for Class A, B and C fires

Class A: Fires involving solid combustible materials
Class B: Fires involving flammable liquids
Class C: Fires involving gases

It can also be used on live electrical equipment up to 1000 V, while maintaining a minimum safe distance of 1 metre.

Use and maintenance

To use the fire extinguisher, pull the safety pin, aim the nozzle at the base of the fire and press the valve handle. The extinguisher must be used in an upright position, directing the extinguishing agent towards the base of the flames.

After use, the fire extinguisher must be refilled. The required periodic inspections must also be carried out in accordance with current maintenance requirements.
