The Opus 88 Omar fountain pen is transparent and made of resin, allowing the ink and filling mechanism to be seen. It uses a Japanese-style eyedropper filling system with a capacity of approximately 3.5 ml. The built-in shut-off valve controls the flow of ink to the nib: unscrew the rear knob slightly for extended writing, and close it to isolate the reservoir.

The JoWo #6 steel nib has an Extra Fine point, while the screw-on cap and black accents complement the transparent design. A glass eyedropper for filling is included.
