Specifications
The evergreen conifer Chamaecyparis pisifera ‘Sungold’ forms a rounded crown with fine, drooping shoots. New growth is golden yellow, while the older foliage is greener. It grows slowly.
It can be planted in a flower bed, a rock garden with adequate moisture, or a large pot with drainage holes. It thrives in full sun or light partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained, slightly acidic to neutral soil. Water regularly to keep the soil evenly moist, without allowing water to accumulate.
