Shape

Rectangle

They offer high thermal performance thanks to their narrow design, which reduces air gaps and heat loss. They are lighter than rectangular ones due to the use of less material. Recommended for hiking, mountaineering, or extreme temperatures.
Size Single
Filling

Down

It offers warmth, high breathability, and minimal weight. Sleeping bags with down take up little space as they are highly compressible. However, if they get wet, they lose their properties and are more expensive compared to synthetic ones.
Material

Polyester

Durable and economical synthetic fabric, ideal for the exterior or interior of a sleeping bag. It does not absorb water, so it dries quickly and withstands moisture, while being resistant to sunlight and daily use. Its main disadvantage is that it may not be as soft to the touch as other fabrics.

3M Thinsulate Eco Insulation & Advanced Silver-Ion Antimicrobial Protection

At the heart of the ArticFjord 1 is premium 3M Thinsulate (Eco) insulation, made with a high proportion of recycled polyester fibers to support the circular economy. It offers an exceptional warmth-to-thickness ratio, maintaining a steady body temperature without the unnecessary bulk of conventional fills. In addition, the certified silver-ion coating (ISO 20743:2021, tested to ATCC 4352) provides a powerful, non-toxic antimicrobial shield that neutralizes bacteria, fungi, and viruses. Silver-ion technology prevents unpleasant odors and stains, while remaining fully active and hypoallergenic even after repeated washing, ensuring hygienic, safe sleep in the mountains.

Durable 210T Hexagonal Ripstop Fabric & Excellent Space-Saving Compression

The outer shell is made from high-tech 210T Hexagonal Ripstop fabric, whose hexagonal weave distributes tension in multiple directions. This geometry prevents tears from spreading, improves abrasion resistance and provides an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, while keeping the fabric soft and flexible. For easy transport, the sleeping bag comes with a dedicated compression sack that saves 40% more space. Its regular packed dimensions are 39 x 20 x 20 cm, but compression reduces them to just 31 x 19 x 19 cm, freeing up valuable space in your backpack for the rest of your gear.

Ergonomic Design Cap Hood, Wind Flap & Insect Protection

Thermal protection is completed by the shaped Cap hood, which traps heat around the head, neck and shoulders, preventing cold drafts in exposed environments. The integrated Mesh-Mosquito cap provides excellent breathability on milder nights, acting as a reliable barrier against bothersome mosquitoes and insects without restricting airflow. In addition, the special Wind flap covers the zipper on the inside, sealing areas where heat could escape and preventing cold air from getting in, keeping the interior microclimate warm and comfortable throughout the night.

Versatile Use, SBS Anti-Bite Zipper & Technical Specifications

The sleeping bag offers generous dimensions of (190+30) x 80 cm when fully opened, while its 2 independent zippers at the bottom provide rapid ventilation for your feet. It can be fully unzipped and used as a comfortable duvet or ground sheet in warmer weather. The branded Anti-bite SBS zippers feature a special slider design that prevents the fabric from catching or snagging, ensuring smooth operation. Inside, a practical Velcro pocket keeps your phone and small items safely stored. Officially certified under code PN: SB017, it’s the ideal choice for comfort and durability during any outdoor activity.
