The Exsys EX-1187HMVS hub connects up to seven USB peripherals to one USB-A port on a computer. Its seven screw-lock USB 3.0 downstream ports support USB peripherals from version 1.1 to 3.0, while surge protection covers each port.

The hub supports USB bus power of up to 900 mA per output or power from an external power supply, with a voltage range of +7 to 40 V DC. It includes a DIN rail mounting bracket and a 2 m EX-K1572V cable with Type-A and Type-B connectors, secured with thumbscrews.
