This particular item was purchased as a helper for letter carving on various types of wood. It is very well-built, with a double collet and 3 guides. I pushed it quite hard at a depth of 5 millimeters on cherry wood and it performed very well, with the expected warming up for the depth of cut and time. It was used continuously for 2 hours, from 2 to 5 millimeters, and it truly left me speechless with the quality of its work. The knives themselves are just decent little knives that do their job well, but I recommend purchasing professional knives for professional work. However, for hobby use, go ahead and get it without any fear.
