Our little one doesn't have a problem when teething, but when she had 2-3 crying fits from teething during the day and we applied this cream, the baby noticeably calmed down after 10 minutes. Also, I haven't noticed any hardening of the gums or difficulty in the eruption of new teeth, unlike another well-known cream that I have heard creates this issue.
