Unfortunately, I am back with very bad comments... being a user of these blades for years, with this batch I was disappointed; the production is now declining in terms of the blade's cutting quality, by far a bad experience, and unfortunately I made a bulk purchase. I simply take it back!

With r41 good deep shave but many cuts and burns with nacet and feather I don't have such a problem

Good sharp blade...not something wow but quite decent...maybe it doesn't fit perfectly on my skin...but it's a good enough choice...

Medium aggressive blades and smooth. Unlike other reviews, they do not cause me any issues and I can even do bold shaves, for example, against the grain all over the face and even on the neck. For a BBS result, I do three passes (with the grain, across the grain, and against the grain). The only negative is their higher price compared to other similar ones.

The rating that follows is based on the following data: I have tough facial hair and I shave every 2nd or 3rd day, always using pre-shave and using tallow-based soaps. The razor is Merkur Slant 39c.

* I evaluate smoothness as the smoothness during the shave (if the blade doesn't stick or catch on any areas or hairs, then the blade is smooth). I do not evaluate the smooth result since with traditional shaving, you can always achieve smooth skin (BBS).
** I do 3 passes for each shave.

Thick coarse beard, sensitive skin. The result, tragic. Many irritations and not a good shave.

I am one of the many "fanatic" fans of this blade and I consider it the number one choice out of all. Very sharp but also incredibly smooth on my face. I haven't cut myself, not even on my pimples, with this blade. On the third shave, it cuts like butter, as if it's its first time. Thank you Gillette for existing. Every face has a different response and requires a different blade. Gillette blades in general, including the Perma-sharp, suit me very well with very few exceptions, but this particular one is a unique blade.

Classic Blades, perhaps the top choice for many. I would say that I have a normal density of facial hair, maybe a bit coarse, and with a high sensitivity in the neck area. The blades are very good for everyday shaving with 1 or 2 passes, but when it comes to against the grain shaving, they show their sharp character and usually cut me in the sensitive areas of the neck. For their price, they are okay, they are like a milder Feather, with much fewer irritations overall, but maybe not as close of a shave after the 3rd use (at least for me).

For me, it is unacceptable!!!! Hard on the skin and gentle on the hair. I have dense, but not hard, facial hair and relatively sensitive skin. I tried it with Muhle R89 and R41 and it was a failure.... The only razor I cut myself with every time I shaved, while at the same time it didn't cut the hair, but pulled it.... I only used the three out of the five razors that the box contained and threw away the other two and gave up. Obviously, with a different machine, on a different person, with different hair, it will work correctly. If it was equally bad for everyone, no one would buy it and the factory would close. Besides, you can't just call it cheap..... It doesn't hurt to try it, but for me it was a failure.
