    The microphone is worth its money. It produces accurate and clear sound, reducing peripheral noise significantly. Compared to the NTG2, it has a subtle improvement, depending on the equipment you have, of course.

    If I could mention some negatives, they are as follows:

    - If it gets disconnected while in Phantom Power mode, instead of turning off, it remains on using its internal battery (although this might be a safety feature), so you need to turn it off every time. The problem is that the foam covers the buttons/LEDs, so it can be forgotten to be turned off.
    - Compared to the NTG2 that I own, its surface is more "rough," resulting in it being very sensitive to friction when held in hand, and the sound gets picked up by the microphone. However, these microphones are designed for camera/boom, so it is not a significant issue.
