The optical construction includes one LD element to reduce chromatic aberrations and two aspherical elements to correct spherical and coma aberrations, as well as distortion. The eBAND and BBAR coatings reduce reflections, flare and ghosting. The internal focusing system and Floating System support close focusing, while the construction includes seals to protect against moisture and a fluorine coating on the front element to repel water and fingerprints.
