Description

Description

This is what Greg Heffley wonders as his town, by its own decision, abolishes electronic devices from daily life. However, modern life has its comforts, and Greg is not willing to give them up.

Meanwhile, the Heffley household is experiencing moments of tension inside and outside, and Greg tries to find ways to survive. Will the good old days turn out to be an easy challenge for a kid like Greg?

Read an excerpt

I always thought I wanted to be rich and famous, but now I’m starting to wonder if fame and fortune are worth all this trouble. I’m sure it would be awesome to be a celebrity, because it’s nice to be treated like a rock star and see your name in bright lights. But how much recognition can a person handle, and I bet you start to get bored of it all after a while.

When you’re famous, you can’t just stop being famous whenever it suits you. And it wouldn’t be much fun to be asked for autographs and selfies all the time. Also, when you’re famous, you can’t do your errands without someone finding out and posting it on social media. And when you’re out there so exposed, someone is bound to take a photo of you that isn’t your best.

  • Wonderful book. Just like the previous ones in the series!!! I gave it as a gift to an 8-year-old girl and she went crazy about it.

  • It is intended as a gift but I know that the child has read other books from the series. I got it for an 11-year-old.
