Very good product, I am very satisfied. It receives signal in the garage while the router is on the first floor.

Ok, it transfers the signal to the next room and gives a moderate speed, but it creates a problem in the internal network for many devices when they connect to the router while it is also plugged in. I tried to disable its DHCP but nothing changed.

A very good extender. I bought it a few months ago and it was truly fantastic! The only negative thing is that even though it connects easily, when I changed routers and got a newer model, I encountered a problem with the connection and I still haven't managed to fix it!

An excellent repeater from a very reliable company.
Its packaging is great, and the manual is quite useful for the extender installation.
When opening the TP-Link Tether app, the installation seemed very easy at first, but I encountered a problem with recognizing the password I had set. I still haven't solved it because I connected it to the computer via Ethernet, due to its relatively distant location from the modem.
In terms of speed, it is very satisfactory and visually beautiful. However, I believe that Xiaomi offers equally good options at a lower price.

I have it for several years and it's great, guys...
Sometimes it loses the signal if the router has WEP issues... but you can find it again without any hassle.
If you use it purely as a Wi-Fi extender, it's superb and overall you forget that it exists...

Excellent product, it covered the entire upper floor in my maisonette (with the main router on the ground floor) with absolute signal strength everywhere. Its application guides you to the ideal placement (locator assistant) for the best result. Very easy installation from mobile via the tplink app. The signal coverage is sufficient even for the ground floor, i.e. under the floorboard. Additionally, the application allows you to program it to automatically turn on/off whenever you want and with different schedules per day/hour. Perfect!

It is worth its money as it offers easy installation even for someone who doesn't know much and also synchronizes quickly without interruptions. It can be used in 3 ways:
- either as a wifi extender,
- or if a device doesn't have wifi and you want to connect it via wifi because it only has ethernet, then you simply connect the device you want with the tplink using ethernet,
- or if you have an ethernet device and you don't have internet nearby, then you put the tplink and connect it with ethernet to the device you want that only has an ethernet port

For 20 days it worked "clock", then it started to desynchronize and need reset 3-4 times a day, now it disconnects instantly and reconnects 400-450 times a day!

The second one in a row that I bought. The first lasted 1 year before it started frequent WiFi disconnections, and now this one lasted only 9 months. It's a big hassle to request a warranty if the product hasn't completely broken down, and unfortunately, this particular one is very faulty. I do not recommend it at all. Also, the speed it supports is very poor. At a short distance from the router without walls in between, from 55mbps download that I have with Ethernet, the speed on the TP LINK drops to 30 mbps max in the best case. Many times it even runs at 20-25. I bought a Powerline to see if things would improve, and it was the best choice I made. A thousand times better solution than a WiFi extender

Although I struggled a bit to connect it because I don't have it with electronics, it ultimately covers its range comfortably on the lower basement floor - because I have the router on the upper floor - we're talking about one floor, with the staircase in between, closed doors, and the signal is perfect. I recommend it, it has saved me!

Automatic connection thanks to WPS. No setup - it works its magic and functions flawlessly without any disconnections.

A very easy to install and use product... for as long as it works!!!
Unfortunately, it freezes very often (every few hours or even more frequently), causing it to stop working (its wifi shuts down and it becomes completely disabled, its LEDs turn off and it is not accessible through its IP), so it is useless in practice.
I tried firmware upgrade, but it didn't make any difference. Unfortunately, it will probably end up in device recycling. :(

Connection with the house across the village (about 25m) with two walls on one side and two walls on the other, with the TP-LINK in between, everything is perfect.

We connected with this Vodafone TV. It has been 1 year and everything is fine. Very easy to install and connect

It is good, but for the money it asks and the difficulty of its connection, I would definitely go for the Xiaomi Pro 300M Single Band (2.4GHz), which costs 9.60€ today and connects easily, having at least the same performance. Easy installation and good range. I place it at the end of my router's range and gain an additional 20-30 meters, in relatively open space of course.
I haven't tested it between floors and walls.

Update!!! I unfairly criticized the product!! So, I did the following 2 things: I raised it higher and secondly, I changed the router to Vodafone, now everything is perfect after incredible inconvenience!!

After researching which product would suit my needs, I chose this one. It is exactly what I need and more.
I have transferred the wireless of the house to the basement, which is not exactly below but a house further away. I was worried if it would be possible, but it can easily penetrate cement walls. Easy to set up, reliable, and powerful. It functions as a repeater but also as an Access point.
Simply the ideal purchase.

Best value for money device with easy installation. I use it to catch internet in the attic from my house on the lower floor while mobile phones couldn't even find it. The connection doesn't cut off, it has a great range, and I was surprised by how good the speed it transmits. I highly recommend it!

If anyone wants a simple and cheap extender that will connect easily and do its job "satisfactorily," then this particular solution is ideal. I use it to send the signal from the router on the upper floor, where it is located, to the ground floor so that there is a signal there as well.
The result is a satisfactory wifi signal without interruptions, but with significantly reduced data transmission speed. So while devices directly connected to the router on the upper floor are connected at 48-49 Mbps, on the lower floor the speed is 15-20 Mbps.

Very good repeater. It connects easily and is quite stable. It is not very fast and is single band, but it is better than other small ones that are dual band. External antennas also help. And it doesn't block the socket!!

Very good but every 6 days it needs to be plugged in and out of the socket because it loses the signal from the router. It's not even worth being a best seller

I have it in the basement and it catches signal from the router which is on the first floor. Although it says in the instructions that if the light is red, there is no signal anymore, this does not apply to me. Even with a red light, I have a normal wifi signal in the basement with five bars. So it does its job perfectly fine

It synchronized immediately with the router, runs smoothly even in difficult areas, e.g... outside a stone house with almost a meter thick wall, like the one I live in.
Even after a power outage, I didn't need to do anything.
It's worth buying it!!

Owner here for 5 months and I can say it's worth the money, strong range and easy synchronization

Waste of money, transmits only 1-2mbps from a distance of 10 meters without obstacles and claims to have 40mbps. I've had it for 2 years and it has never worked, constant disconnections. As for the app, it's easy to use for setup but quite slow! Spend a little more and buy something like Ubiquiti for better results.

One of the most reliable devices on the market, the tp Link tether app skyrockets its ease of use! I highly recommend it!

I don't know if it's the internet connection's fault because even though I recently changed providers, I still had issues with the range, so I resorted to using the extender solution. I can say that it works in terms of range, but I have the feeling that there isn't a big difference, even when I moved the router closer to my laptop. In this particular case, I simply connected directly to the router instead of using the extender since it ultimately had a better signal. I think it works better as a hotspot to handle more connected devices rather than as a solution for range issues.

Guys, I saw the comments and decided to give it a try. I was disappointed because the download and upload speed without the extender was twice as fast as with it (I have a 100 Mbps VDSL line). Now, with speeds up to 24 Mbps, it might be worth it...
