On Ear

Headphones with smaller ear cups compared to over-ear headphones, which sit on the ears.

They are more portable due to their smaller size, but offer less comfort and isolation from external noise.

Generally, over-ear headphones, thanks to their larger speakers, can offer better sound quality and deep bass compared to on-ear headphones of similar quality.
Impendance
-

Impendance

The resistance that the speakers of headphones have to electric current. Usually, the lower the resistance, the louder the headphones sound, but the sound is less clear.

This size does not concern the average user as almost all headphones are 32 Ohms. Headphones with high resistance usually require an additional amplifier.
Sensitivity
-

Sensitivity

The greater the sensitivity of the headphones, the louder they will sound at a specific volume of the source. Generally, values above 90db are considered very good. - **Above 100db**: Headphones with high Sensitivity produce more sound with less power. They can reach high volumes with low-power devices (e.g., mobile phone, laptop). - **Below 100db**: Headphones with low Sensitivity require more power to reach the same volume levels, so they may need a special headphone amplifier
Driver Diameter
-

Driver Diameter

The diameter of the headphones' speakers. Usually, the larger the diameter, the more powerful sound with full bass they can offer.

Being the owner of these headphones for about a year, I can say that I am quite satisfied. The sound they offer in the highs and mids is crystal clear, while the bass is very satisfactory. A big plus is the microphone for calls, as the voice (both from the microphone to the caller and from the speakers to the wearer) sounds clear and there doesn't seem to be much noise in a noisy environment. As for the touch functions it has, one can learn them in a very short time and they are very useful, as you can answer calls, adjust the volume, and stop/change songs with the phone locked and in your pocket. Also, the cable is long enough and durable, so the headphones work with any device with a 3.5mm Audio Jack, although without the microphone function and touch functions. Overall, satisfied except for the fact that (although it depends on ear to ear) after about 2 hours of use, it feels a bit uncomfortable and I need breaks - hence the 4 stars.

A BIG PLUS is the customer support of urbanears! Impeccable and willing to help during the most difficult times!

**When connected with the cable, the cable itself has a button for calls and a microphone.
