Rich and full-bodied, with a woody aftertaste. Drink it with a little cold water or minimal ice. Very good bourbon, be careful with consumption due to high alcohol content!

First of all, let me say that I am a big fan (maybe it's even in my top 3 favorites) of Four Roses Small Batch. Generally, bourbons are perhaps the whiskey category that I like the most. For this reason, I was very excited when I got this bottle. From the first opening, you can understand its complexity. A sweet aroma (it reminded me of something like vanilla and caramel), but at the same time a little smoky.
As I mentioned, it is a quite complex whiskey on the nose. So it is in the taste as well. At first, I struggled to determine whether I liked what I was drinking or not, but after a while, the complexity and the "full" flavor won me over. The alcohol content is noticeable, but in the most elegant way it could be. It doesn't burn at all, on the contrary, it leaves a very nice sweet-vanilla aftertaste.
I don't regret buying it at all, as I wanted to complete my collection of Four Roses (I only miss the limited edition, which is sold out). However, to be honest, I wouldn't buy it again. Instead, I would much prefer to buy the Small Batch again.
