Once a year, every autumn, when the leaves on the trees turn red and yellow on Dragon Island, Coconut and Matilda go to the Forest of Dangers to pick mushrooms. Today they have been picking mushrooms since morning and their baskets are overflowing, filled with the tastiest mushrooms. They are getting ready to head back home, when suddenly Matilda lifts her nose high and sniffs the air.
