In the game Stella Glow, the protagonist Alto starts as a village boy in a small town. One day, he hears a song coming from the forest, something unusual as music had disappeared from the planet thousands of years ago. There he discovers the lonely Hilda, who reveals that she is the Witch of Destruction and intends to destroy the world with her Messengers. When Hilda is ready to destroy Alto's homeland, he and Lisette are rescued by the Royal Knights and return safely to the kingdom. Alto joins the 9th Regiment with the sole purpose of gathering the other Witches to stop Hilda.
