Davidoff Cool Water is not just a fragrance, it’s a journey through time. As soon as I smell it, images from the 90s come straight to mind—billiard halls, old cafes, and that distinctive vibe of that era which is hard to describe but unforgettable.

Its perfumer is the same one who made Green Irish Tweed, and it’s as if he took that and made it more summery with fewer variations, meaning he went down designer paths.
It’s a fresh scent, exudes cleanliness, and has a light green feel.
It may no longer have the longevity or complexity of more modern fragrances, but it has something much more important—it has character and emotion. It’s one of those fragrances you wear and it only brings back beautiful memories.
A timeless fresh scent that always deserves a place in my collection.

I am the "grandpa" described by those who leave bad reviews for this monumental and iconic child of global perfumery. Because nowadays, perfumes like Cool Water, Drakkar Noir, Polo Green are described in such terms. Not with phrases like "it reminds me of my uncle, my dad, my grandma" and other unbearable clichés. It should be noted that I own a plethora of perfumes, but this particular one has never been missing from my collection, ever since I first wore it in high school in 1991. Masterpiece.

Average, overused fragrance, reminds me of grandparents and parents who used to wear it, longevity is average too, max 3 hours on me, spend a bit more and get genuine perfumes.

I bought it because of the reviews I read here. I have other perfumes as my main ones, but from time to time I like to try something else for a change.

I've had it for three days and I'm wearing it. I would describe it as a neutral fragrance. That is, there is no way you will hear a negative comment or someone telling you it smells bad. Likewise, there is no way someone will be amazed when they smell it and tell you what an incredible fragrance it is (like they say about others I have). As for longevity and projection, it's ok. At least for me.

Finally, it's still early to draw a definite conclusion, but I don't think I'll buy it again when it runs out

Personally, I didn't like it...... It gives off a sense of "freshness" but I don't like its scent. Also, it has a very short duration. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it and it's definitely not a blind buy

Very good fragrance. The scent is exactly as others describe, fresh, spring and summer-like. The packaging is very good. However, the longevity of the fragrance is very poor; after about an hour, if you haven't sprayed a sufficient amount and on your clothes, it disappears. I wouldn't buy it again only because of the longevity. The quantity is satisfactory for its price. So it's worth it, it just has short longevity

So, the toilette has NOTHING to do with the parfum. They are two different scents! Anyone who has bought both can tell! I would not change the scent of the toilette for anything! No fragrance has that sweet freshness! 4 stars because it used to last longer in the past. As a scent, I really wouldn't change it for anything!

First time I smelled it was in '93 during a five-day trip to Corfu, and that was it. I asked, learned, bought it, and since then almost every summer a bottle of Cool Water. The best value for money for me if you want a classic scent that smells like summer, 5 stars easily.

Blind buy, it was totally worth it as it is a fragrance that makes you smell freshness and joy. I consider it suitable for all ages and especially for a daily basis fragrance.

It's a fragrance with a intense freshness, that would probably be recommended during the spring-summers in more of a day to day use, and not for formal events or going out.

It is one that has stood the test of time however, as it reminds you of the 90s and Beverly Hills 90210.

As mentioned in other reviews, the longevity on the scent doesn't last too long, but evens out into a soft hint of a smell, would say worth it for the price however.

Classic fragrance, a clone of Creed Irish Tweed from the same creator that made Cool Water. Excellent longevity but intensity, without becoming annoying.

Very light the Eau de Toilette. It is NOT a perfume. It is a deodorant. The intensity fades within a short time but leaves a very soft scent. For those who want longevity and intensity in the fragrance, they should get the EAU DE PARFUM

One of the most classic fresh men's colognes that first launched in 1988, but gained popularity and was widely used from the mid-'90s onwards. In the past, you could distinguish it among many colognes due to its intensity and longevity - however, its longevity has now decreased, just like that of the other (all-time classic) Drakkar Noir. The deep blue color of the bottle, which is its trademark, still evokes exotic seaside landscapes of the Caribbean.

Update. After half of it stayed in the bottle, the scent has changed. Now I don't like it

So-so fragrance. Obviously, it has nothing to do with the old Eau de Parfum. However, what particularly bothered me is its longevity. Even supermarket fragrances last longer... You put it on and it doesn't even last half an hour.

Very nice, classic fragrance! One of the first I had smelled as a child many years ago and its scent had impressed me! It doesn't have great longevity, but for what it offers, it's worth it! Also, very good price!

It is very good as a fragrance, it just has no relation to the corresponding eau de toilette. It is slightly heavier and sweeter, without that feeling of freshness of the eau de toilette.

What can one say about this timeless LEGEND? Whatever is said is an understatement. Masculine, fresh, aquatic, it brings to mind endless summers in Santorini! It exudes a freshness of cleanliness that drives everyone crazy, especially... women! Worn out? YES! Old-fashioned? YES! Outdated? NO. Simply... UNIQUE. As for the price...! Let's just leave that aside... Four stars for its longevity and nothing more.

Very nice fragrance for everyday use, especially in the summer you wear it after a shower and you feel super clean. You can even wear it at the gym or at work. Very affordable but minimal lasting power, it doesn't last more than 20 minutes. I suggest getting a similar type where it's even cheaper and has a longer duration.

Nothing like before, it changes every few years, it doesn't last even half an hour and has lost its vibrancy. Invest in something else, what a shame.
