The Metzeler Roadtec Z8 Interact front motorcycle tire features a radial construction and a tread with grooves shaped like the Greek letter pi. Interact technology uses variable tension in the 0° steel belt: higher tension in the center limits tread compound movement and improves stability, while lower tension in the other areas provides greater flexibility and grip when leaning.

The tread grooves help channel water away and adjust stiffness and pressure across the contact patch according to the lean angle. The high-silica compound is combined with the steel belt in the center, which provides support and helps limit overheating and wear.
