Description

  • Continuity testing of coaxial cables with BNC plugs and 8-pole data lines w. mounted RJ-45 sockets.
  • The device identifies open and short-circuited connections (wire/wire or wire/shield).
  • A two-line display (LED) sequentially indicates which terminal of the RJ-45 plug at end A of the cable is connected to which pin at the cable end B, and manual or automatic switch advancement is possible. In case of a short circuit, more than two LEDs light up simultaneously.
  • The device has 2 RJ-45 sockets. With the provided Remote Kit, cables mounted on the wall can also be tested.
  • Two adapter cables (BNC/RJ-45) are provided for testing coaxial cables.
  • PoE testing – the PoE Finder allows the network administrator to discover if a network cable is supplied via PoE. Simply connect the network cable to be tested. The LED of the PoE Finder will light up if the cable is powered.
  • Battery (not included in delivery): 1x E-block 9V (6LR61/AM-6).
