I bought it in May 2018 because it advertised a 5-year warranty and I installed it in the bedroom. From the first moment, in the cold, the vibrations produced by the external unit were so strong and were transmitted through the wall into the room to the point where the room sounded like it had a ferry boat engine. I called them at that time and they started telling me stories like "it's not in the right place on the wall and it vibrates" and "that's how it vibrates when the Inverter starts up." To cut a long story short, the solution I found was to put rubber spacers 4cm in the contact points of the unit and operate it in the "sleep" mode always in the cold. Anything stronger would start making unbearable noise again.
Fast forward 4.5 years later. Last night I try to turn it on in the heat. The temperature indicator flashes for about 2 minutes and then shows an F1 indication. I searched everywhere for error codes but found nothing. I call the official dealership Amoiridis-Savvidis. I describe what's happening. They tell me "...it's probably an indication of poor communication with the external unit. Have you done the regular maintenance every year?" "Of course," I tell them. "Do you have the receipts from our certified technicians proving that you have done them?" And there I ask him, "...do you know any technician who can provide a receipt?" So, there he tells me that the warranty cannot be activated. As if the person I call every year to clean the blinds can be responsible for, for example, a faulty circuit board or a burned compressor. Honestly, these "loopholes" they find to refuse to keep their word are infuriating.
But I don't blame them, they sell rebranded Chinese products and I was tempted by the low price.

Από την πρώτη στιγμή, στο κρύο, οι δονήσεις που παρήγαγε η εξωτερική μονάδα ήταν τόσες και μεταφέρονταν μέσω του τοίχου στο δωμάτιο σε σημείο το δωμάτιο να ακούγεται σαν να είναι μεσοτοιχία με την μηχανή ενός φέρυ μποτ. Τους είχα πάρει τότε τηλέφωνο και μου άρχισαν τις ιστορίες ότι "δεν είναι σε σωστό σημείο στον τοίχο και δονείται" και "έτσι δονείται όταν παίρνει μπρος το Inverter". Να μην τα πολυλογώ η λύση που βρήκα ήταν να βάλω λαστιχένιους αποστάτες 4cm στα σημεία έδρασης της μονάδας και να το λειτουργώ στο κρύο πάντα στην λειτουργία "sleep". Οτιδήποτε πιο δυνατό άρχιζε πάλι να κάνει ανυπόφορο θόρυβο.

Έψαξα παντού για error codes αλλά δεν βρήκα τίποτα. Παίρνω τηλέφωνο την επίσημη αντιπροσωπία Αμοιρίδης-Σαββίδης. Περιγράφω τι συμβαίνει. Μου λέει "...μάλλον είναι ένδειξη κακής επικοινωνίας με την εξωτερική μονάδα. Έχετε κάνει τις τακτικές συντηρήσεις κάθε χρόνο;". "Φυσικά" του λέω. "Έχετε τις αποδείξεις των πιστοποιημένων από εμάς τεχνικών ότι τις έχετε κάνει;". Και εκεί τον ρωτάω "....ξέρετε κανέναν μάστορα να κόβει απόδειξη;". Οπότε εκεί μου λέει ότι δεν μπορεί να ενεργοποιηθεί η εγγύηση. Λες και αν αυτός που καλώ κάθε χρόνο και ρίχνει καθαριστικό στις περσίδες, μπορεί να είναι και υπέυθυνος για το αν πχ χάλασε η πλακέτα ή κάηκε ο συμπιεστής. Ειλικρινά, αυτά τα "παραθυράκια" που βρίσκουν για να αρνηθούν να κρατήσουν τον λόγο τους είναι εξοργιστικά.
Αλλά δεν τους κατηγορώ, rebranded Κινεζιές πουλάνε και εγώ δελεάστηκα από την χαμηλή τιμή.
