Lyrachord Body Construction & Multi-Soundhole Design

The Ovation Celebrity Elite CE44-RR-G features the patented Mid-Depth Lyrachord composite body, combining lightweight construction with structural strength. The solid Sitka spruce top is supported by scalloped X-bracing, delivering a quick attack and an extended dynamic range. The multi-soundholes on the upper bout optimize sound projection for both the player and audience, while minimizing acoustic feedback when connected to amplification systems.

Neck, Fingerboard & Ergonomics

The Nato wood neck features a satin finish for a smooth feel and fast hand movement along the neck. The Ovangkol fingerboard has 23 frets, while the body’s cutaway design allows easy access to higher notes. The 43 mm nut width provides comfortable string spacing for both fingerpicking techniques and playing with a pick.

OP-4CT Electronic Preamp System

For connecting to amplifiers, mixers, or PA systems, the guitar is equipped with an Ovation Slimline piezo pickup under the bridge, delivering high output and clear string separation. The built-in OP-4CT preamp features a 3-band equalizer (Bass, Mid, Treble) for precise tonal shaping, a volume control, a battery indicator light, and a digital chromatic tuner with a display for fast, accurate tuning.
