Δεν είναι και μάλιστα έχουν ενσωματωμένο κύκλωμα προστασίας από βραχυκύκλωμα, πιθανότητα φόρτισης κ.α. δικλείδες ασφαλείας όπου δεν αφήνουν τον χρήστη να "κακομεταχειριστεί" την μπαταρία. Ο κατασκευαστής αναφέρει στο manual ότι υπάρχουν ίδιου τύπου μπαταρίες που είναι επαναφορτιζόμενες.
