Five years is more than enough for it, it was installed in 2012, and in 8 years it developed a hole and I have to add water up to the waterline, until it bursts.

I bought it in 2008 and it broke in 2021-2022. At the beginning, it was leaking a lot. I serviced it every year, changed the anode and gasket, and replaced the heating element 3 times. I believe it didn't justify its cost
