As others have correctly stated, it is a bleach cream and not a regular dye or lightener for lightening. Hence the -T which stands for Toning. It is generally a good toner, the Ice shade gives a cool icy blonde result - similar to the result of silver shampoos if left on the hair for a long time. It also did not irritate my scalp or eyes at all. It's a good product, just know that in order to see the results it offers, you must definitely have a light blonde base, level 9 and above. On orange-blond or warm-toned blonde hair, it's like you didn't even put it on!
