Excellent! It has quality. It contains the winter forest within it. If you have smelled a wet forest in winter, where the scents burst from the leaves, the soil, the rotten tree trunk... This is what it reminds you of. Permanently in the collection.

A forest of cypresses after the rain... intense cypress, vetiver, and incense giving it depth, it truly gives off something of ink, a slight metallic bitterness, maybe that's why they named it "black ink."... masculine, dark, unique, for ages 30+. This should be the "regular" one of the series. Nothing complex, mysterious, or sophisticated as some say. Just proper woody scents with great longevity, without the general-purpose detergent feel that the regular one has. For around 20 euros, which is its usual price, it is excellent.

If you are into woody Tom Ford and looking for a cheaper similar fragrance for everyday use, this is the best!

I have been wearing Encre Noire since it first came out. Initially the original version, then the sport for the summer months. Over the years, I noticed that every time I bought it, its intensity and longevity decreased. I got the extreme version to see if it lasted longer. It turned out to be even weaker than the regular one. After 1-2 hours at most, you have to stick your nose to your skin to smell it. Also, what I bought from notino differs somewhat from what I tried in a store where the sandalwood and patchouli were clearly noticeable (although this can still happen even if you buy it from where you tried it). However, the scent remains pleasantly heavy, woody, and quite mysterious, just like the original. At a price of 25€ for 100ml, it remains a very good purchase.

Heavy, masculine, winter fragrance. It requires a good, formal outfit, cold weather with rain or snow, and a dark bar with expensive whiskey while listening to blues. Its longevity on my skin is at least 4-5 hours, on clothes until they go into the washing machine. As for the comments saying that it is for older ages, I would not agree, as long as you can support and combine the fragrance with your outfit.

Dark, heavy, masculine. A fragrance that is both rock and chic. It loves the cold, the underground, whiskey, and distorted guitars.

I believe it is the best of the Encre Noire series and it smells much more expensive than it costs. It has several similarities to the much more expensive Commes de garçons Wonderwood.

Short duration....it doesn't leave its "mark" at all...definitely not value for money. In the end, in fragrances too, you get what you pay for...

Wow guys, very strong scent. I actually think it's more suitable for older ages. However, it's a nice fragrance and it lasts a long time. It doesn't fade away from you.

This one is not for everyone. Very strong scent, wild and woody, a pure masculine fragrance and not a sweet unisex concoction. Long-lasting with an intense "trail", a very special creation in my opinion by the top-notch Nathalie Lorson. If you like Terre D'Hermes and it suits your skin, then this one is worth a try. Personally speaking, I loved it and received many compliments, just like with Terre.

In the opening, it is very aggressive and synthetic (a mess). After a few minutes, when the top notes disappear, it becomes very mysterious, woody, spicy, sexy, and unique. I'm not talking about specific notes because you can see them everywhere in the comments and other reviews.

Conclusion: Almost niche quality in a 100ml EDP with a 79% concentration. Beginners might not appreciate it, but trust me, at this price, it's worth trying (even as a blind buy, like I did).

I bought it out of curiosity because of the hype. You hear dark and gothic and atmospheric and you imagine different things. The reality may be very different. At the beginning, it is very heavy to the point that someone might confuse it for wearing perfume or emitting some kind of stench. After 1-2 hours, it releases something interesting but still very unique.
If you are not an emo, goth kid, animal embalmer, or corpse collector, I would say no.
