The Gustave Lorentz vineyards were established in 1836 and remain in the family heritage. Half of them are located in Altenberg de Bergheim and Kanzlerberg, two renowned hills in Alsace, known for the exceptional quality of their wines.
Their production was classified as Grand Cru in 1993, the highest level in the classification of Alsace wines. This vineyard is one of the most recognized in the region.
