Paraskeyi Kostopetrou

Paraskevi Kostopetrou was born in Lamia in 1962. She studied at the Athens University of Economics and Business and has been residing in Athens ever since. She is married and has one child. She works as a Finance Director for large companies while also engaging in poetry and literature. She was awarded the 3rd World Literature Prize at the International Literary Competition of the Organization for Hellenic Culture NOSTOS in Argentina for the short story "The Sacred Dance of the Caryatids," which she co-authored with writer V. Makris. She received the Outstanding Poetry Award at the 22nd World Congress of Poets by the United Poets Laureate International.
