Anastasios Mpountis

Tasos Bountis has been working in the field of chaos and fractals since his doctoral studies in theoretical physics at the University of Rochester, USA, in the 1970s. He has taught the theory of dynamical systems, chaos, and fractals at the California Institute of Technology, Clarkson University, the University of Amsterdam, and the University of Patras for 35 years. He is the author of 200 articles and 6 books and has co-organized 5 international conferences and 30 summer schools on "Nonlinear Dynamics, Chaos, and Complexity" in Greece for students and young researchers. In 2014, he was elected a corresponding member of the Academy of Athens in the chair of "Complex Systems," and in 2015, he was elected a member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts.
