Dimiter Inkiow was born in Bulgaria. At the age of ten, he wrote his first children's story. By sixteen, he was already a contributor to a major newspaper. He studied directing in Sofia. As a children's book author, he quickly gained recognition. Since 1965, he has lived in Munich, Germany. He spent a significant period in America and acquired American citizenship. In Germany, he made his debut with the book "The Doll That Wanted to Have a Baby," which was considered an ideal book for first and second-grade children. Critic Weber wrote about this book: "It is one of the most beautiful books that have come into my hands in recent years." His work is humorous, original, and entertaining. Some of his books have been translated into various languages. Inkiow's most notable works include: - The Doll That Wanted to Have a Baby - The Little Hunter - Myrto and the Bandit Karaboum - Me and My Sister Clara - Me, My Sister Clara, and the Cat Birbilis - Me, My Sister Clara, and the Dog Myrizos - Stories Like a Dream.
