THeano S. Terkenli

Theano S. Terkenli studied Forestry/Natural Environment at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Landscape Architecture at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA, and Geography at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, USA. She is an associate professor in the Interdepartmental Graduate Program in Tourism Planning, Management, and Policy and in the Department of Geography at the University of the Aegean, where she has been teaching since its establishment in 1994. Her scientific and research interests focus on Cultural Geography and the Geography of Tourism, for which she has published various articles and books.
