Marina Karagatsi

Marina Karagatsi, daughter of the writer M. Karagatsis and the painter Niki Karagatsi, was born in Athens in 1936. She studied history and archaeology at the University of Athens and primarily focused on the folk stone carving of Andros ("Stone Images of Andros," 1990, "Marble Iconostases in Andros in the 19th Century," 1993, "Founder Plaques of Andros," 1996). She has a son, the actor Dimitris Tarlow.
