THanasis Sfikas

Thanasis D. Sfikas wurde 1963 in Athen geboren. Er lehrte europäische Geschichte an der University of Central Lancashire im Vereinigten Königreich und moderne griechische Geschichte an der Universität Ioannina. Derzeit ist er außerordentlicher Professor für Geschichte an der Aristoteles-Universität Thessaloniki. Er hat die Bücher "The British Labour Government and the Greek Civil War, 1945-1949: The Imperialism of Non-Intervention" (Keele: Keele University Press, 1994; griechische Ausgabe, "Οι Άγγλοι Εργατικοί και ο Εμφύλιος Πόλεμος στην Ελλάδα: Ο Ιμπεριαλισμός της Μη Επέμβασης", Athen, Filistor, 1997); "Greece and the Spanish Civil War: Ideology, Economy, Diplomacy" (Athen: Stachi, 2000); "War and Peace in the Strategy of the KKE 1945-1949" (Athen: Filistor, 2001); und zusammen mit Christofer Williams herausgegeben: "Ethnicity and Nationalism in the CIS and the Baltic States" (Aldershot: Ashgate, 1999) und "Ethnicity and Nationalism in Eastern Europe and the Balkans" (Aldershot: Ashgate, 1999) veröffentlicht.
