Giorgos Lillis

Giorgos Lillis was born in Germany in 1974. A year later, he moved with his family to Greece, initially settling in Athens and later in Agrinio, his place of origin, until returning to Germany in 1996, where he has lived and worked since. His poems have been translated into German and featured in international magazines and anthologies. His translations, poems, and essays have also been published in various Greek literary magazines ("Poetry," "Mandragoras," "Tree," "Coast," "Writing"). He curates radio shows in Germany, showcasing Greek poets and musicians, including Nikos Kavvadias, Nikolas Asimos, and Mikis Theodorakis. He has translated Wisława Szymborska, Erich Fried, Li Tai Po, and Native American poets into Greek. "The Land of Sleeping Waters" (published by "Mandragoras," 2001) is soon to be published in Germany.
