
Dimitris Kyrtatas
Dimitris Kyrtatas was born in 1952 in Athens and studied in Thessaloniki and London. He has been teaching ancient history from 1985 to 2001 at the School of Philosophy of the University of Crete and since 2002 at the Department of History, Archaeology, and Social Anthropology of the University of Thessaly. Kardamitsa, Athens 2000, "Conquering Antiquity: Historiographical Routes," Polis, Athens 2003, among others. In 2010, he published with Spyros Ragos, and a foreword by D. N. Maronitis, the book "Greek Antiquity: War, Politics, Culture" (Institute of Modern Greek Studies / Manolis Triantafyllidis Foundation) and in 2010 "666: The Number of the Book" (Agra Publications).
