Despoina Sakka

She is a Social Psychologist with a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, USA, an M.Ed. from Harvard University, USA, and a Ph.D. from the Department of Psychology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.). Currently, she is an Assistant Professor of Social Psychology in the Department of Primary Education at A.U.Th. Her research interests, publications, and the intervention programs she has participated in focus on: (a) the changes in gender roles and the formation of gender identities during adolescence, and (b) the changes brought about by migration and repatriation on an individual and social (school) level.
