Khaled Hosseini

Khaled Hosseini was born in 1965 in Kabul, Afghanistan. His family was granted political asylum in the United States in 1980. He currently resides in California, where he works as a doctor. His first novel, "The Kite Runner," has captivated literary critics and readers alike. The rights have been sold in 30 countries, and the book is already being adapted into a film by DreamWorks and Wonderland Films, directed by Sam Mendes.
