
Spyros Ferentinos
Spyros Ferentinos is a school advisor for secondary education mathematics in the 3rd District of Athens. He studied at the Department of Mathematics of the School of Physics and Mathematics at the University of Athens. He holds a Ph.D. from the Department of Psychology at Panteion University, specializing in "Statistics and Methodology of Empirical Research in Psychology," with a dissertation on "Psychological Functions of Mathematics in Secondary Education." His teaching experience in higher education includes: 1) Teaching the course "Statistical Data Processing in Psychological Research" at the Department of Psychology at Panteion University, according to Presidential Decree 407/80. 2) Teaching the course "Statistical Analysis of Psychological Data" in the Master's Program "Organizational and Economic Psychology" at Panteion University. 3) Teaching the module "Statistics in Social Sciences, using Computers" in the Master's Program "Political Science and Sociology" at the University of Athens. He is the author of articles in journals, collective volumes, and conference proceedings, as well as books primarily focused on the fields of Education and Psychology. He is responsible for the statistical processing of results in a large number of research programs and serves as a trainer in Teacher Training Schools.
